    Kiwanis Sea Cliff Mini Mart

    KIWANIS SEA CLIFF MINI MART

My husband and I are the Co-Directors of Mini Mart, the largest fundraiser for our Kiwanis Club.

Come out on Oct 1st from 10am to 5pm to Sea Cliff Avenue from Carpenter to Prospect!

    Hope to see you there!

    More on Mini Mart:

The Mini Mart annually draws up to 200 vendors and over 12,000 people along Sea Cliff Avenue.

This year we harken back to the origins of handcrafted with over 50 Sea Cliff, Glen Head, Glen Cove, and Glenwood Landing artisans and over 100 artisans coming from Nassau County.

There is an abundance of unique, quality, arts and crafts such as sculptures, jewelry, quilts, upcycled and repurposed art, hand-embroidered items, photography, home décor, bird houses, and cutting boards, to name a few. Sea Cliff Avenue restaurants offer delicious, tempting “tastes” and libations.  There also are activities for children with face painting, fairy hair glitter, hair braiding, and more.

This is a primary fundraiser for many nonprofit organizations, including North Shore Kiwanis, (an all-volunteer organization) which will celebrate 55 years of service to the North Shore community next year.

NSK supports local school scholarships, Kamp Kiwanis for Children, Kiwanis Pediatric Center, Klothes for Kids, (see our Sea Cliff Mini Mart Facebook Page) Koats for Kids. During COVID, we did numerous food drives.

My husband, Roger and I have been members of the Network for many years. Their mission is:

Bringing the Word to Life, Encouraging everyone to learn and tell biblical stories.

This year’s Festival Gathering will inspire you to a renewed sense of the story God is telling within you.  You will hear thought-provoking keynotes led by Ray Aldred ThD. Dr. Aldred is the Director of the Indigenous Studies Program at the Vancouver School of Theology and a status Cree Indian.

    Theme Stories:

Genesis 2:4–25: God Creates a Garden and Co-Gardeners
